the Spring Lake Train Station, Warren
Avenue, near Fifth, Spring Lake, NJ.
Race Week pickup Schedule:
Saturday May 16 - 10 am - 1 pm
NO SUNDAY PICKUP
Wednesday May 20 12 -2, 4-7 pm
Thursday May 21 - 12-2, 4-7 pm
Friday May 22 10 am - 8 pm
Race Day Pickup is at the race site - Ocean
Avenue, 6:30am to 10:30 am. Shirts must be picked up by 10:30, race day, NO
EXCEPTIONS.

tent/table, right next to the information table, between 7:00am and 7:30am on
Saturday morning of the race. We could definitely use the help.

Five Mile Shirt Design - Elizabeth
Hodson
Elizabeth Hodson is the owner of ehCreative, a design studio specializing in affordable print graphics for small businesses. ehCreative provides a variety of services, including but not limited to, logo design, brochures, post cards and announcements. Elizabeth also creates specialty advertisements for newspapers, magazines, journals, vacation guides and publicity events. ehCreative clients include retail and service-oriented businesses and schools, as well as non-profit and professional organizations.
Elizabeth’s work has garnered recognition in the local community. Her winning design was chosen to be the new Manasquan Chamber of Commerce logo in an open competition in 2008, and most recently her submission was selected to represent the 2009 Spring Lake Five Mile Run.
As far back as she can remember, Elizabeth has been the creative type. As an undergraduate at Rowan University, she majored in Communications and Commercial Art and then went on to receive her Masters Degree from Rutgers University in 1996.
Elizabeth found her calling when she began making programs for her wedding, then for her friends, and then for their friends! This talent has evolved from a hobby into one of the many services she specializes in today. She also designs invitations and other wedding accessories. In addition to running ehCreative, Elizabeth is the Marketing Director for Tristate Imaging’s Manahawkin, NJ facility. She currently resides in Spring Lake Heights, NJ with her husband, two children and Boston Terrier,

Spring
Lake Five 2009 Charities - updated
Thanks to the Friends of the Spring Lake Five,
Inc, one hundred entries will be available through charitable organizations.
Last year, the charities were able to raise over $15,000 for their individual causes.
We ask that you contact
the charities directly for details about entering the race through their email
listing. You will be asked to raise a set amount in pledges for the charity. All
the money you raise will be given to the charity; your checks are written
directly and mailed directly to the charity, not through the Spring Lake Five
Mile Run.
Sharing Network Foundation www.sharenj.org
Sharing Network Foundation was created in 2006 to support the mission and work of NJ Sharing Network by raising funds to foster and promote public education about the importance and benefits of organ and tissue donation, to further scientific and medical education, and to advance donation and transplantation research. Sharing Network Foundation is an independent 501(c) (3) organization. As a supporting organization of NJ Sharing Network, at least 80% of funds raised by Sharing Network Foundation are used for NJ Sharing Network current and/or future activities.

Northern Jersey Shore - The Diney Goldsmith Center is a non-profit organization with a mission to help people affected by cancer enhance their health and well-being through participation in professional programs of emotional support, education, and hope. Programs and services offered are support groups (for the person with cancer and their loved ones), nutrition and cooking classes, light exercise and movement classes, stress reduction classes, educational programs, and programs of a social nature. All programs are offered free of charge in our Eatontown location.

Charity House
Charity House is a foundation dedicated to donating help directly to those in need. Started back in 1988 when we saw a need to support people immediately with money, care, food, supplies, etc... without having to go through the many channels of a corresponding charity. We are proud that 100% of the money donated to Charity House goes directly to those people in need. There are no administration costs.

The Front and Center Fund, a privately managed fund that has been established to help raise money and awareness for causes, families and individuals in need, will be donating all of the proceeds from this year's Spring Lake 5 to the Embrace Kids Foundation. www.embracekids.org is a non-profit organization located in New Brunswick that is committed to enhance and support the quality of life and care for children with cancer and blood disorders and to provide the much needed support services for those children and their families. To enhance your donation, The Front & Center Fund will make a 10% matching donation so that the foundation will actually receive 110% of all donations that are made. Additionally, The Front & Center Fund will absorb all costs associated with this fundraiser so EVERY dollar donated will go directly to the foundation.

Ocean of Love is a non-profit charitable organization dedicated to helping children in Ocean County with cancer and their families. Our purpose is to assist the children through their illness. We provide financial and emotional support so that they can experience the "normal" joys of childhood, knowing their lives are significant and meaningful to each and every one of us. Programs and services include transportation costs, utility bills, mortgages, car repairs, counseling, food, clothing and unfortunately funeral expenses. We have helped over 400 families in the past 20 years.

Team In Training is the signature fundraising campaign for The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society. The Society's mission is to cure leukemia, lymphoma, Hodgkin's disease and myeloma, and improve the quality of life of patients and their families. This is a great opportunity to be welcomed into the 360,000 participant strong TNT family and make a difference in the lives of local residents battling blood cancers.
